The Senior Adult Retreat always features fun activities.  Pictured left is Jack Baldwin in his magic show in 2017. In 2018 the Cabinet is planning a talent show (with Kathy Mason as Emcee).  Who knows – maybe Jack will provide some more magic as several seniors showcase their awesome talents!

Melvia Carter, an elder at Snow Hill Christian Church, will be the retreat leader for the 2018 Senior Adult Retreat.  The theme for the retreat is “Hear Me!”  Sister Carter has spent years in the medical field and has served the church in numerous capacities.   She has been in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) for more than 50 years. She has recently discerned that God is calling her into the ministry and she has already preached in her home congregation.  She will be formally received into Ministry Care in the coming weeks.  Melvia is married to Donald Carter, Sr.  She is the mother of two adult children.

Music and singing are highlights of each Senior Adult Retreat.  George and Judy Dudley will again serve as our musicians at the 2018 Retreat.  They always do a fantastic job!
