AAA Trip to Purdy Butterfly House in Huntsville
Valley Senior’s AAA group traveled to Huntsville’s Botanical Gardens and Purdy Butterfly House for their September monthly adventure. Everyone enjoyed the scenic walk and tour of the Fern Glen, Asian Aquatic Garden, a Sycamore tree that has grown from a seedling sent to the moon. They also got to see the Scarecrow Trail and Thomas the Train children’s Village. After the tour we had another adventure at the Ole Heildelberg Restaurant with traditional German atmosphere, food and costumed wait staff. Everyone enjoyed the day of fellowship, nature’s beauty and good food.
